My Turmeric Chocolate Elixir seems to have green flecks in It!!! Is it OK?

Yes! There's nothing wrong with the elixir. A number of customers have sent photos of the chocolate elixir with "green" particles inside. We had some of them send those bags to us so we could examine the "green". When those bags arrived, we couldn't find anything green! With a little more experimentation, this is what we discovered:

The green color is a peculiar optical "illusion" caused by white coconut milk powder that's become infused with the yellow of the turmeric reflecting "cold" fluorescent light which in turn interacts with the brown powder of the cacao. If you take the bag into warm incandescent light, the green disappears!

We haven't figured out how to prevent this occasional illusion from happening.

That said, if you are uncomfortable with using that bag of the elixir, please contact us at support@spicepharm.com and we'll send you another bag free of charge.

The seal on my Turmeric Matrix Instant Tea jar appears to have been opened when I unscrewed the cap. Is it OK?

Yes! Some Golden Goddess Turmeric Matrix Instant Tea jar seals are exhibiting a partial lift when the jar is first opened. The jar has not been tampered with. The jar and its contents are factory new. This does not affect the quality, freshness or amount of the Matrix powder inside of the jar. We are working with our pressure seal supplier to investigate the cause of this partial seal problem and expect this to be resolved by your next order. Thank you for your understanding and patience. How secure is my financial information?

Our entire site uses the latest https: SSL encryption for all transmissions so the connection between you & us is highly secure. For financial transactions, we only use Authorize.net, the #1 merchant gateway. We never store your financial information, it's immediately passed to Authorize.net for processing using extra security. To minimize security threats, our website does NOT use Flash or Java.

What's the difference between Subscribing to your newsletter, Registering to get a FREE gift or promotional offer, & Registering in your e-Store?

Free gifts, promotional offers & newsletter subscriptions are managed through our secure, verified email list provider service, GetResponse. When you sign up for these, GetResponse verifies that you have opted in for the offer or service from us. This normally allows follow-on emails from us to reach you & NOT be flagged as Spam by GMail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.

When you register in our e-Store, you are setting up an account on our e-commerce server so you do not have enter address & other contact information each time you buy from us. This is completely independent from GetResponse. We never store your financial information. We do, however, forward your email address to GetResponse to automatically register you to receive our newsletter. You may opt out of this at any time. We promise never to spam you!

I think I've used the wrong email address during your e-Store registration! How do I correct it?

This can only be corrected by contacting Customer Support at 707-634-6033 x102. We highly recommend that you do this, as all receipts & shipping notifications are electronically sent to you via that email address, and your email address is used during the login process. It's very quick for us to fix this problem :)

My credit card was declined! Why?

The authorization or decline of the transaction comes from Authorize.net. If your transaction was declined & you'd like more details, please feel free to call Customer Support at 707-634-6033 x102.
